About Laurence
I live with my family in the North East of England, where we are blessed with glorious coastlines and the rolling Cheviots. The geography and history of the region enables photographers to capture wonderful images. The North East and its residents are full of character.
I have a background in Corporate Business, and a strong understanding of what clients expect in terms of quality and professionalism. I bring this ethos to my work with both individuals and companies. My range of services includes Weddings, Families, Commercial and Landscapes.
My photographs and articles have been featured in The Times, The Guardian, Living North Magazine, NPhoto Magazine (the leading photography magazine for Nikon cameras) and Digital Camera Magazine.
My Clients include: – Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest, Lombard Finance, Disability North, Hargreaves Services PLC, Patrick McWilliams Jewellery, John Nicholson Heating and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. I am a regular contributor to the Newcastle Journal and Chronicle Newspapers.
I am fully insured and, as a member of the Guild of Photographers (incorporating the Guild of Wedding Photographers and the Guild of Professional Photographers) and The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, I am committed to delivering a first-class service to my customers.
In February 2016, I attended the Guild of Photographers’ Annual Awards Dinner in Cheshire. I was awarded the Guild’s Photographer’s Bar and was shortlisted in both the Landscape and Open categories.
The Awards Dinner was a fun evening and it was inspiring to see the work of great photographers, but also spotlights my challenge to try and improve on an ongoing basis.
